FAQ

How much weft hair do I need?

It usually takes Two, 4 oz packs of hair (8 oz.) to do a full head.

How many packs of bulk hair do I need for a full head?

Please note my hair is sold in 2 oz bundles, not packs. To do a full head of micro braids you will usually need 4 to 5 bundles, which totals to 8 to 10 oz of hair.

Can the hair be colored?

Yes! We sell 100% Human hair & Indian hair, so it can be colored to your preference. It is recommended that you get the hair colored or processed by a professional.

Can I flat iron or curl the hair?

Your Indian hair can be styled in many ways using heat styling tools. However, please keep in mind that every time you apply heat to the hair, it damages the hair to an extent, decreasing the longevity of the hair. Stove top styling tools are too hot for the Indian hair texture. Please use plug-in electric styling tools at the lowest heat setting.

What kind of hair care products should I use?

Use good quality shampoo and conditioning products. Rivas Silicon Mix Shampoo and Rivas Silicon Mix Capilar Treatment works Great for Indian hair. It is important to condition your hair as it keeps it soft and manageable. Styling products such as gel or hair spray can be used to keep the curls in place. Be sure to wash your hair on a regular basis and not leave these products in for a long time as your hair will appear limp, dull, oily, and tangle. Please avoid using heavy oil or styling products. Biosilk is a good product to use for shine and softness as it is a light oil (use sparingly).

How do I take care of the hair?

Treat the Indian hair as if it is your own hair. Use good quality products and wash it on a regular basis. Every morning, gently brush the hair starting from the ends towards the scalp. Never go to bed with WET hair. Sleeping on wet hair will result in matting. To avoid this, please make sure that the hair is thoroughly dry before going to bed.

How long will the hair last?

With proper care and maintenance, the hair should last up to 6 months or longer. Be sure to treat it like your own hair.
